Donors trust Edmonton Community Foundation to make effective decisions to best meet the needs of the community, now and forever. Volunteer Board members who represent the community's interests set direction and standards and monitor all facets of our operations.
In addition to the Foundation’s volunteer Board members, community volunteers with expertise in specific areas serve on a number of committees that offer direction and counsel to Foundation staff regarding key areas of operation. Committee volunteers also often provide recommendations to the Board to help meet its overall stewardship responsibilities.
Committees include:
- Audit Committee
- Community Grants Program Advisory Committees
- Community Scholarships Committee
- Governance Committee
- Investment Committee
- Endowment Development Committee
The involvement of all ECF volunteer Board and committee members helps keep costs low and service high.
