Youth Empowerment Program

The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) is an initiative of the Edmonton Community Foundation. This program is made possible through financial gifts from generous donors and supports activities that are initiated, led, and organized by Edmonton youth.
The activities that can be supported through the program are wide ranging - from organizing a local street dance to initiating a career fair or hosting workshops on topics like bullying, self-defence, or civic engagement. Youth groups are welcome to be creative and to apply with any idea within the parameters discussed in the accompanying information.
Edmonton Community Foundation has convened a youth advisory committee to review applications and recommend projects for funding.
