Recognizing that many students need financial help to achieve their post secondary educational and training goals, Edmonton Community Foundation supports a variety of learning opportunities through its scholarship, bursary and award funds.
In 2008, the Foundation awarded more than $850,000 to over 170 students.
For most awards, an applicant’s program of study must lead to a recognized degree, applied degree, diploma, certificate or licence at a qualified Alberta technical institute, college or university. In some cases, awards may be granted for academic upgrading, apprenticeship or trades training programs that lead to gainful employment or further post-secondary programs.
Visit the Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards and Other Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards for details about each award.
Together, the Foundation, donors, students and institutions are all contributing to a stronger community for everyone.
