The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the ongoing system administration, optimization and enhancement of our ERP and CRM platforms.  This includes leading and executing project work related to our Salesforce platform and portal, providing oversight for data integrity standards and optimization in Sage Intacct and Smart Simple and the development of process/procedure documentation to assist staff in utilizing these platforms.

This role also supports and leads other IT related projects and initiatives for ECF including the development and capture of system requirements for projects and significant application improvement requests; liaising between departments, IT Service Desk, and third-party vendors while managing/prioritizing workplan/actions; and creating and streamlining internal controls/processes for ongoing data management at ECF.

A critical aspect of the role is developing and maintaining key relationships across ECF, and with external user groups and third-party vendors in supporting the continuous development and enhancement of our business systems.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you will have a university degree preferably in Computer Science, Finance or Business combined with a minimum of 5 years directly related work experience in supporting or administrating information technology or ERP systems; equivalent combinations of related post-secondary education and directly related work experience will be considered.

You are versatile with a combination of databases, platforms and systems and have experience in leading IT projects and utilizing project management methodologies.  Your work experience includes Salesforce system administration, preferably combined with Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201).  Experience with Sage Intacct administration is also an asset.

Additional requirements include:

  • superior analytical skills and problem-solving ability, including the ability to appropriately evaluate, assess and problem solve even when information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous;
  • strong customer service skills;
  • demonstrated knowledge and experience in information, data management, process automation, analytics and/or computer systems;
  • highly degree of initiative and ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with little supervision;
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • superior organizational and workload prioritization skills;.
  • ability to effectively and professionally present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups;
  • experience with data analytics and visualization platforms is an asset (eg. Power BI); and
  • experience in a non-profit environment is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $66,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
