Bookmark this page and join us on June 2 at 11am for our virtual Annual Meeting with keynote speaker Doug Stollery.
Although we cannot gather in person, we will hold a virtual Annual Meeting on the designated date and we would be delighted if you could join us. The live broadcast will start at 11am on June 2nd and the recording of the meeting will be up on our web site for the rest of the month.
Doug Stollery, our keynote presenter, will provide us with the Foundation’s back story and early days. Board Chair Zahra Somani and I will share ECF’s outstanding results from 2019—the formal subject of the Annual Meeting. I will conclude with some remarks on going forward, in the context of the current COVID-19 crisis as well as some suggestions for what we might do more or different in our next 30 years.
Anniversaries should be not only about looking back and celebrating but also looking ahead. It is an opportunity to consider new opportunities (of which there are many because of the crisis) and commit to new ways of supporting our community.
Please stay safe and we look forward to “seeing” you on June 2nd. Very best wishes!
Edmonton Community Foundation is celebrating the end of our 30th year with a book that tells the story of how ECF got started and the many stories that have contributed to the foundation’s growth.
