Win $500 for your school or charitable organization
We need a name for our grant program for innovative youth-led projects (grades 7—12) in the Tri-region area (Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County and in First Nations*) that raises awareness of a community issue, addresses a community need, or resolves an issue already identified in the community. The grant program could provide as much as $5,000.
All we need now is a name. If we choose the name you suggest, you could win $500 for your school or organization!*
Participation in the contest is limited to students currently enrolled in Grades 7-12 in a school within the Tri-region area.
How to enter:
Tell us what you think we should call the grant program described above. Send your entry to contest@ecfoundation.org and include:
- the name of your charitable organization or school,
- the charity or teacher contact information (name, email, phone number).
The contest is open January 10 to January 31, 2022. The winner will be contacted in February.

*Canada Revenue Agency guidelines stipulate that only registered charities and other qualified donees are eligible to receive the prize or grant. If you are unsure of the status of your organization please contact us at grants@ecfoundation.org.
