AdaptAbilities is a not-for-profit organization that helps individuals with special needs develop the essential life skills they need to grow, succeed, and belong. Our human rights approach not only focuses on our participants but also on their families who have altered their work-life balance to become caregivers. Our vision is to be the leading provider of enhanced respite care in Alberta.
At AdaptAbilities, we offer programs and services that focus on building trust, creating hope, and establishing meaningful relationships. Our inclusive environment is essential to our participants’ and their families’ well-being, meeting them wherever they may be on their inclusion journey. The specialized services we offer give parents and caregivers the opportunity to pause, take a break, and focus on their own well-being while fostering relationships with their loved ones.
We have partnered with the Edmonton Community Foundation to grow our endowment fund through their decades of knowledge and experience. Gifts to this fund will give AdaptAbilities a platform for future stability and growth.
