To know Dolores was to be lucky in life for it was a boundless opportunity to laugh, to learn, to work hard, to be coached, to be hugged, to be loved. Dolores had passion and energy for the people in her life, but she also had time – time to listen, time to counsel, time to care. A true superhero to those that had the good fortune of her company – as she was an exemplary daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother, colleague and friend.
Dolores understood that the key to happiness isn’t how much you compile through life but rather how much of yourself you give. This endowment through ECF will ensure that Dolores’ legacy lives on through Habitat for Humanity. Her service to others is her true legacy.
