Judge, Chris
The Chris Judge Endowment Fund was created in 2006 to support the Chris Judge Award for Excellence in Arts and Athletics presented annually to a graduating student at Strathcona High School in Edmonton. Chris was an outstanding runner, a passionate artist, a respected art professor and a much-loved son, brother and friend whose sincerity, determination and courage impacted all of us.
Sadly, Chris passed away on March 27 after a long and courageous battle with MS. In addition to Chris’ records on the track and an impressive body of artwork, perhaps his greatest legacy is how he inspired so many of us; he taught us to view life and the world from a positive perspective that is rare today, even under the best of circumstances.
Chris never complained and often said “well, you either laugh or you cry” and, thankfully, he chose to laugh way more often than not. Chris will be deeply missed by all, but we are proud that his legacy can live on through the Chris Judge Endowment Fund and we thank you for your support.
