Kaelan William Traub Memorial Fund
On June 19, 2005 we had the greatest pleasure of welcoming Kaelan William Traub to this world. Due to his prematurity, he was immediately transferred to the Royal Alexandra Hospital NICU. Sadly, 42-hours after his birth, Kaelan sustained an internal injury from which he could not recover. We were privileged to bond with him when he was well and to comfort him when he became sick. On June 22, 2005, peacefully cradled in our arms, Kaelan’s heart beat for the last time. It was 3-days of intense hope and fear that changed our lives forever. Ultimately love survives, and we cherish our son’s brief but important life.
Brian, Robin, Anabelle and Raffi Traub and family are fortunate to honour Kaelan’s memory with the establishment of the ECF Kaelan William Traub Memorial Fund. Annually, disbursements from this endowment benefit Edmonton organizations that enrich our community through their artistic, medical, or humanitarian endeavors.
