As first responders and frontline organizations continue to address the immediate crisis in Jasper, and other northern Alberta communities, Edmonton Community Foundation, in collaboration with the Northwestern Alberta Foundation and the Banff Canmore Foundation, have created the Northern Alberta Resiliency Fund to restore and enhance the social infrastructure of our neighbours. Edmonton Community Foundation will match all donations to the fund up to $100,000.
The fund aims to support the long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts in Jasper, focusing on areas that are not covered by governments. Funds raised will be given to the Community Foundations and other registered charities in those regions to support their rebuilding efforts.
