Robin Croteau Forever Young Forever Smiling Fund
As the result of the pain and grief that we were left with in the wake of the sudden passing of our son from this world to his next life we decided, through prayerful reflection, to create a fund to channel our energy and effort to a positive cause. We created the Robin Croteau Forever Young Forever Smiling fund. The fund is administered through the Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF). The ECF exists to help the people of Edmonton and area by encouraging philanthropy and funding charitable activities. Through contributions from donors, the Foundation assembles and administers permanent pools of capital so the returns can be perpetually reinvested in our community.
Donations to Robin’s fund through the Edmonton Community Foundation are endowed. That means they are permanently invested for long-term growth. This is the power of endowment: your gift grows through investment to provide ongoing support forever. As this is a donor advised grant Teresa and I have chosen to work with St. Francis Xavier high school and have set up a scholarship at the school.
Robin Graduated from FX in 2010 and the scholarship was established in 2014. By your generosity we award $1000.00 annually to a student that best demonstrates the following:
- Financial need
- Involvement in sports and outdoor activities
- Community involvement
- Interest in travel
- Leadership qualities
Your donation will help us increase the amount awarded or perhaps create a second award.
