Welcome to our 2023 Annual Luncheon!
On June 9, 2023, over 600 Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF) donors and community partners gathered at The Westin Edmonton for our highly anticipated 2023 Annual Luncheon. CEO Tina Thomas and Board Vice Chair Elisa Hung opened the event with organizational updates from our past year, including a financial report and granting impact. Next, we saw a dance performance from the Chinese Cultural Dance Association and a moving testimonial from Astrid Velasquez of the New Canadians Health Centre. Finally, Professor Irshad Manji took the stage to talk about methods for turning debates into constructive discussions, even in these polarized times.
